Lemon & Ginger Mojito Mocktail

With the cold brew’s natural sweetness, the ginger ale compliments the drink with a light fiery kick without overpowering the notes of the coffee finally topped up with a fresh zesty touch of lemon and mint.

A new favourite of ours, invented in our roastery buy Ashley, we think this is the perfect mocktail to enjoy with any of our single origin filter coffees, but we loved it with Maraba, Rwanda.

How to make it

1. Fill your glass with ice cubes
2. Add the following ingredients to your cocktail shaker:
Squeeze half a lemon into a shaker
25ml coffee concentrate
15ml sugar syrup to the shaker
Slap a large sprig of mint between the hands to release the flavours
4. Shake well
5. Pour this mixture over a tumbler full of ice (including the mint)
6. Add 100ml of ginger ale and stir gently 3 times
7. Garnish with a lemon slice or lemon twist.

What you'll need

Cocktail shaker (including strainer)
Ice cubes
25ml coffee concentrate (35g coffee to 250ml water). We would recommend using a v60 for this
15ml sugar syrup (20g sugar with 20g boiling)
100ml Ginger Ale
Sprig of mint
Slice of lemon

What coffee to use

You'll need a coffee suitable for filter We would recommend any of our Single Origins or Microlots.
