Grown by Ricardo Perez on his farm, Santa Lucia, the coffee is shade grown, harvested by hand and processed at Helsar de Zarcero micro-mill. Ricardo has always championed organic coffee cultivation methods and the lots are mechanically washed using an eco-pulper at the micro mill. Helsar de Zarcero was opened 10 years ago by Ricardo, Marvin Rodriguez and Phillip Rodriguez, so they could provide traceability and quality processing for their own coffee crops.
