Ungukamihinzi, Rwanda

Ungukamihinzi means farmers benefits. Our partners since 2019, this co-operative has 1973 members, of which 20% are women. The co-operative sits on the road which leads to Akagera national park, the largest protected wetland in Central Africa.

The coffee from this coffee washing station is fully washed and 100% sundried. Farmers deliver their coffee cherries to the CWS where trained staff pulp, ferment and wash the coffee before laying it to sun dry for several days.
