- This prize draw is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is a UK resident aged 18 or over. Union Hand-Roasted Coffee reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Eligible Participants. By taking part in this promotion, Eligible Participants confirm that they accept the terms and conditions set out below. This promotion excludes employees of Union Hand-Roasted Coffee (the “Promoter”), their immediate families, its affiliated companies, distributors, agents or anyone else professionally connected to the Promotion.
- Eligible Participants can enter the prize draw by visiting unionroasted.com/winflights between 12:00am GMT on 20th May and 11.59pm GMT on 31st October (Closing Date) 2019 and entering their full name and email address as directed. Any entry received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the prize draw. No purchase or fee is necessary to enter this prize draw. No responsibility will be taken for lost, damaged, delayed or illegible entries. Proof of delivery is not proof of receipt. No entries will be acknowledged.
- Personal data will be taken where necessary from all entries received but shall be limited to those details reasonably necessary for the administration of the competition. This information may be shared with any other third parties reasonably involved in the prize draw without liability to Union Hand-Roasted Coffee or such third parties. - Only one entry per person is permitted, no third party or bulk entries are permitted. Union Hand-Roasted Coffee reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person it finds (a) to be attempting to enter more than once; (b) to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this prize draw; (c) to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions; (d) to be acting otherwise than in good faith; or (e) to have provided any false or misleading information as part of the process of entering the competition.
- There is a total of 1 prize. The winner will be drawn at random under independent supervision and notified by Union Hand-Roasted Coffee via email on or before 30th November 2019. Upon being contacted by Union Hand-Roasted Coffee the winner will be provided with details of how the claim the prize.
- The winner must accept the prize within 30 days of notification. If the winner does not confirm their intention to claim the prize within this time, a supplementary winner may be selected from the remaining entries at Union Hand-Roasted Coffee's discretion.
- The winner will be required to provide their name, address and passport details to enable BA to book the prize flights.
- The prize includes one pair of Club World (business class) return flight tickets from London Gatwick to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) .
- The prize flights must be booked before 30th January 2020 and are valid for travel between 1st December 2019 and 1st December 2020. The winner will be asked to provide their preferred travel dates, however, flights are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- The travel companion must be aged 18 or over. These terms and conditions apply to both the Winner and the companion and references to the winner include (where the context permits) the travel companion. Both tickets must be redeemed at the same time and cannot be split. Tickets must be used on the same journey, on the same day and the same flights.
- Where available, all prize flights will be issued as e-tickets. All transportation taxes, fees and charges are included. Tickets cannot be upgraded, transferred, sold or exchanged. Once booked, no changes can be made to tickets.
- Flights are subject to availability and capacity control. BA reserves the right to limit the number of prize travel seats available on any flight. It is possible that there will be no prize travel seats allocated on a particular service or the flight may be fully booked for prize travel seats, even though other seats are still available in the same cabin. BA does not accept any responsibility in the event the winner is unable to book their preferred flight(s).
- The winner may only choose from BA operated flights. Travel on BA franchise, code-share and alliance airlines, domestic connections, transfers and other add-ons are not included.
- The winner and his/her travelling companion are responsible for (a) supplying all required travel documents, taking out travel insurance and obtaining vaccinations that may be required to visit the destination that is their prize; and (b) their travel arrangements and all associated costs or incidental expenses, including travel to/from the airport and accommodation and to/from the airport and home address. In addition, the winner is responsible for any income or use tax assessed in connection with the prize.
- The prize is non changeable and non transferable. No cash or credit alternatives are offered. No upgrades are allowed. No domestic add-ons are included. No Avios, On Business points, partner miles, Executive Club or On Business tier points will be awarded for travel under this prize draw. British Airways reserves the right to provide substitute prizes of a similar value, should the specific prize become unavailable for any reasons beyond its control.
- All travel on BA flights is subject to BA's General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage (available on ba.com) and the notice and conditions of contract contained on each ticket and itinerary.
- Union Hand-Roasted Coffee accepts no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computer malfunction, viruses, bugs or telephone malfunction or other such causes. Union Hand-Roasted Coffee has no responsibility for any malfunction, delay, loss or damage caused by its malfunction, or the actions of its administrators.
- Union Hand-Roasted Coffee’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Union Hand-Roasted Coffee reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize draw without notice and any tickets issued in the event of major catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, earthquake or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar events beyond its control.
- Union Hand-Roasted Coffee is in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web site or home page access which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions of this prize draw.
- Union Hand-Roasted Coffee is not responsible for any loss or damage howsoever caused to Eligible Participants to the maximum extent permitted by law and will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage, howsoever caused to Eligible Participants, except where and only to the extent that any such loss is caused by the negligence of Union Hand-Roasted Coffee, its employees or agents.
